Seventies Bones Cut Deep
The heavy flat top line and deep translucent acetate come straight out of seventies frame making, cut thicker than almost anything on a modern rack. Light passes through the amber so the frame reads warm instead of heavy. Thickness is the whole argument here. A slim version of this shape would say nothing at all.

Metal Hardware At The Hinge
Sculpted silver plates sit where the temples meet the front, which is both the hardest working point on the frame and the part people notice from the side. The hinges are pinned rather than glued so the arms open the same way in year three. Details at that scale are what separate a real vintage build from a costume one.

Brown Lenses Suit The Frame
