A thin gold-toned rim runs the lens and hands off to a black acetate temple with a cut-out at the hinge. The cut-out sits where the arm meets the rim and breaks up what would otherwise be a solid block of black. Two materials, one clean break, and nothing else on the frame competing for attention.
